This policy covers the Nagad88 app information website: the pages about the Android APK, the iOS home-screen version, installation and updates. The website does not create accounts, take payments or store passwords. Registration, login and the cashier work on the official Nagad88 site, which this website links to from its download buttons. The Nagad88 app is a separate product with its own data requests, described below. The website is for adults aged 18 and over.
What this website sees when you visit
Like any website, this one receives technical data from your browser with each request: IP address, browser and device type, the page you opened and the time. This data is needed to deliver the page and to protect the server from abuse.
The website has no registration form and no comment section, so it does not ask for your name, phone number or email address. If you write to a support address listed on the contacts page, the message and your address are used only to answer you.
The website may use cookies for basic operation and for counting visits in aggregate. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the pages stay readable without them. The Download buttons lead to external addresses, and from that moment the privacy rules of the destination site apply, not this policy.
What the Nagad88 app asks for
The app is a WebView wrapper: it opens the mobile version of the Nagad88 site inside its own shell and adds push notifications and fingerprint login. Version 1.0 of the app lists the permissions below. Here is what each group means in plain terms.
- Internet and network status: needed for the app to load at all.
- Notifications, vibration, start after reboot and a foreground service: needed for push messages about bonuses and promotions. On Android 13 and newer, the phone asks for notification permission on first launch, and you can refuse.
- Fingerprint and biometrics: used for fingerprint or biometric login on phones with a sensor. The fingerprint itself stays on the phone and is checked by Android.
- Approximate (coarse) location: the region the phone is in. It is not precise GPS.
- Phone state, storage, advertising ID and install referrer: used for tracking and attribution of installs.
The code of the APK contains four components: OneSignal and Firebase for push messages, AppsFlyer for install attribution, and WebView for the site itself. So the app does collect and send technical data, including the advertising ID, to these services. If you do not want that, you can reset the advertising ID in Android settings, turn off app notifications, or revoke permissions in the app settings of your phone. Whether a particular permission can be revoked without breaking the app depends on your Android version and phone maker.
Who handles your account data
Everything you enter in the app, including username, password, phone number (+880), referral code, deposits and withdrawals, is handled by the operator of Nagad88, not by this website. The operator decides how that data is stored, how long, and what is shared. The operator's own notice says it never asks you to send money to private accounts or to share your login, receipt or OTP code. Treat any message that asks for these as a scam, whoever it claims to come from. This information website will never ask for them either.
Age limit and changes
The website and the Nagad88 app are for people aged 18 and over. Do not use them if you are younger, and do not let children use your phone for the app.
